Fishing in Penang: Monkey beach

Jungle tracking & fishing

View from Monkey Beach

Recently, my wife and me have a trip to Penang for hiking to Monkey Beach. Along the way, we are fascinating by the beautiful natural seaside. While we are continue our hiking using the jungle track, we found some people walk along the seaside with fish rod. Another discovery! A place can jungle tracking & fishing in Penang. I shall always go over to Penang & more surprise discovery.

There are many big rocks along the seaside start from the tourist center until Monkey Beach. This has been became a good habitat for fish like ikan kerapu (grouper), ikan pari (stinggray), todak, and many other unknown small fish. I have chance to have a short talk to the fisher and they confirm to me that ikan kerapu (grouper) is the most frequent fish can found here.

I nit yet have experience on sea fishing. I think, i shoudl try this out one day.
